Are you on fire for Jesus? It seems that with all that is happening in the world, people have become desensitized to what they see, feel and hear. If only there were a way to make the lost and hurting understand who Christ is, by us using our own might and will. Unfortunately, if God has not invited Himself into someone's heart, that heart remains unfertile. Once God has penetrated a man's soul, he will bypass the sin, the stubborness and the pride; and it is then by God's perfect timing and will - that a change takes place. A new believer will become on fire for Jesus and will now allow Jesus to become a part of them. It says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
One awesome way to witness to the lost, is to plant seeds into a person's heart and pray for them. You may be the one to plant the seeds, but that does not always mean that you will be the one to water them. Pray for that person's salvation and let your life be an example to them, in order to show them what it truly means to be a Christian. If you do connect, and you feel that this new heart is ready for Jesus, direct them to a Bible-based church and give them access to the Prayer of Salvation so that they can better understand what it means to give your heart to Christ.
